I’ve been flipping through the archive recently and I’ve noticed quite a lot of confusion over, well, pretty much everything! So I thought I would make things easy on you guys and put pretty much everything you need to know in one handy post.

The Basics

Dashboardco will accept not only arrow submissions, but ironic coincidences that happen on your dashboard. All you need to do is screencap your coincidence and submit it here! Easy as pie. All we ask is that your submission makes sense to everyone. If it’s an inside joke with you and your best friend, then just keep it to your own blogs and don’t bother submitting it.

Faq

“I submitted something a while ago and I haven’t seen it yet! What’s up with that??”

Keep in mind we usually have around 200 posts queued up on average. It’s going to take some time for your submission to appear so be patient!

Other possibilities are:

1) your submission was one of several. I’ve noticed that we get duplicate submissions quite a bit. I don’t usually queue all of them. I only queue one. So your post might be one of them.

2) your submission didn’t make sense. This has caused some confusion in the past. Normally, pretty much every arrow submission makes sense. However, I have seen some submissions that I didn’t understand at all. These were mostly one of the other “coincidences” (non arrow) that have been submitted. If we don’t get it, we assume most of our followers won’t either so, therefore, it won’t be queued.

Do you put credits on the submissions/why don’t you put credit on the submissions?

We get so many submissions that it would be really tough for us to go through every single one of them and put credit on them. If you really want credit on your submission, then put it as the caption of the photo when you submit. It makes things a whole lot easier on everyone.
